Terms and Conditions For Mobile Grooming
Deposits
All first time bookings do require a 50% deposit to secure the appointment. This must be paid within 24 hours of making your booking. This deposit is refundable and transferable up to 48 hours before the appointment. Any cancellations after this time, you will lose your deposit and you will be required to pay the FULL balance of the slot time booked out.
Requirements
To carry out my mobile services, I do need parking for the van and access to a plug socket for my van plug in. I can not park my van where there are parking restrictions (unless a permit is provided), where I will be blocking the road or across a road as I can not drag my electric cable across roads.
Payments
I am cash or bank transfer only due to high card machine fees. If you are paying via bank transfer, this does need to be paid BEFORE I leave the premises
Lateness
I have a 15 minute grace period for lateness or people not being home when I arrive. After this time, you will either be offered a shorter service or your appointment will need to be rescheduled. Please note, you will still be charged for the FULL slot time that was booked out.
You are welcome to go out while your dog is being groomed in the van, but please ensure you are back on time for when the groom is complete. Again, I have a 15 minute grace period, after this time you will be charged an extra £5 per 15 minutes you are late home as this does put the rest of my appointments for the day behind.
Medical Conditions/Behaviour Issues
You will be asked during the consultation if your dog has any medical conditions, skin allergies or behaviour problems that I need to be aware of prior to the groom. It is your responsibility to let me know to the best of your knowledge anything that may impact their safety or mine during the appointment.
Any information that is NOT disclosed before the groom in regards to medical conditions or skin allergies etc, I cannot be held responsible. Every care and attention is given to the best of my ability during your pets appointment with me, but I cannot take proper precautions without having all the information required beforehand.
I am always happy to take on dogs that may have behaviour problems, providing I have been given this information prior. Not disclosing this information puts me and your dog at risk. Failure to do so, will result in extra charges.
Watching The Grooms
I completely understand how tempting it is to stand and watch your dog having a haircut if I am grooming with the door open however, this does put your dog at risk of injuring themselves on the table. I do NOT allow owners to 1. Come in the van during the groom (unless it is safer to do so) 2. Stand outside and watch.
I used neck straps to help keep your dog safely on the table. When a dog can see their owner they become very excitable and therefore puts them at risk of injury.
I am always happy to take photos and videos during the groom, providing it is safe to do so, but for safety and insurance purposes, owners are not allowed to watch or be in the van.
